Delete your SiteHisab account
You can delete your SiteHisab account and everything in it at any time, yourself, without asking us. This page explains how, exactly what disappears, and the little that we keep.
Option 1 — delete it yourself, inside the app
- Open SiteHisab and sign in.
- Go to the Account tab.
- Scroll to Danger zone.
- Tap Delete account and all SiteHisab data.
- Type DELETE when asked, to confirm you mean it.
The deletion runs immediately and you are signed out when it finishes. Large accounts with many uploaded files can take a minute or two.
Option 2 — ask us to do it
Email avigyan7@gmail.com from the email address on your account, or tell us the phone number your account uses, and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it is really you, delete the account, and reply to confirm. We complete deletion requests within 30 days, and normally within a few days.
Deletion cannot be undone. There is no recovery, no grace period and no backup we can restore from. If you want to keep your records, use Export to download a CSV of your project before you delete.
What is deleted
- Your login itself — the phone number and email that identify you.
- Every project, and everything inside it: site diary entries, labour attendance and your labour register, material receipts, tools and machines, work orders, bills, payments and cash movements, rates, BOQ and quantity data, bookings and customer names.
- Every file you uploaded — challans, bills, drawings, PF/ESI papers, your letterhead.
- Your Talk to AI conversations.
- Your account and licence records, and your membership of any shared account.
What is kept, and why
To be straight with you rather than make a promise we do not keep, a few small records survive deletion. None of them contain your project data, your files, or anything you recorded about your site.
- Pending team invitations you sent, which hold the email address or phone number you typed when inviting someone.
- A one-line record that this phone number or email once held an account. This stops a deleted account from being recycled to claim a fresh licence.
- A hashed, masked copy of your email address used to rate-limit sign-in emails and prevent abuse.
- Payment references (amount, reference number and date) for any purchase, which we are required to retain for accounting and tax.
If you want any of these removed as well, email avigyan7@gmail.com and say so, and we will remove whatever we are not legally required to keep.
Deleting the app is not the same as deleting your account
Uninstalling SiteHisab from your phone removes the app from that device. It does not delete your account or your data, which live in your account and are still there when you sign in from anywhere else. Use one of the two options above to actually delete.
